We are so excited to be a part of the festivities at LSU's Rural Life Museum Christmas Event. A large group of children, teens, and adults will be performing at 2:30pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 on the porch of the Dog Trot House!
If you are interested in being a part of this event, please fill out the contact form in the menu or register on the home page! Adults rehearse once a month. Kids have a one time extended weekend workshop, November 12 & 13. See the home page for details. We hope you will join us! For the safety of our students, families, and community at large, Choir Classes, rehearsals and the 2020 fall concert has been canceled. We will resume rehearsals and classes in January 2021. Singing in large groups over an extended period of time has been considered great risk for spreading and transmitting the Covid-19 virus.
We regret the loss of our cumulative great rehearsals and the progress that has been made. Please continue to be patient as we navigate these new and uncertain waters. There are many factors to determine before another concert date is chosen. Please pray wisdom for me and our staff as we determine the future of our spring semester. Keep praying for our nation, it's leaders, and those who have already been greatly affected by the magnitude and ripple effect of this serious outbreak. Check back with us at a later date to see updates. If you'd like to inquire personally about other musical education, please contact me at [email protected] Sincerely, Sherry Barron, Director We are following the EBR Parish School System Protocol for rehearsals and concert.

Planting Musical Seeds...Growing Strong Musicians! Sherry Barron, Director The spring will soon be upon us as we finish up our fourth year of Homeschool Choir! Whew, time flies! Each semester our kids are learning something new. The theory classes are filled with such enthusiasm as our instructors teach Recorder Karate! Students earn various colored degree belts as they work toward a "Black Belt!" You can hear kids practicing in the parking lot as they prepare to play for Mrs. Joy and Mrs. Jessica! It's great fun and the kids love the competition.
Spring Dates are set. It is a rather interesting semester with Easter coming early in the year and the many holidays spread throughout.
